DO I HAVE TO SIGN UP FOR ACTIVITIES BEFORE I GET THERE & WILL I GET CLOSED OUT OF ACTIVITIES?

Very few activities require you to sign-up – but if they do, you will see an image of a pencil right next to the activity. All sign-ups are done at the MEAL BEFORE the activity begins. Space is limited in sign-up activities. All other activities can accommodate many guests throughout the period and you will not get closed out. Any activity that has a small asterisk next to it means it begins right on time because the entire period is necessary to complete the activity. If you show up late for these, you may be left behind.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

Many of our activities have indoor locations in the event of rain. Hikes and other outdoor activities will continue in the rain unless there is thunder and lightning. Announcements are made in the dining hall at meal times when changes are necessary, as well as on the white board in the dining hall.

DO YOU PROVIDE HIGH CHAIRS?

We do have a limited number of high chairs and can not guarantee one will be available on a large volume weekend. Please call and reserve one if you are unable to bring your own.

CAN I GET A COPY OF THE SCHEDULE BEFORE I ARRIVE?

The schedule is usually ready on the Wednesday or Thursday before your weekend. This is due to seasonal changes, weather, staffing, which groups are here, and other factors. Please check back here in the days before your weekend, and click on the ‘SCHEDULE’ link on the top of the page to check-out the schedule for the weekend! Please make sure to receive the hard copy of the schedule when you check-in on Friday night for any possible last-minute changes.

WILL MY CHILDREN BE SUPERVISED?

Adult supervision is required at all programs for children under 12. A talented and  highly capable Frost Valley Program Instructor runs each activity on the program schedule. All our instructors are at least 21 years of age with a college degree, and have gone through CPR and First Aid training.

IS THERE SWIMMING?

No. Frost Valley does not employ lifeguards during the year. Boating is available in the Fall and Spring, weather depending.
